About BEAM Services
BEAM Services (Barrow Valley Enterprises for Adult Members with Intellectual Disabilities) is a registered charity and voluntary disability service provider, rooted in local communities across Carlow, Kilkenny, and Wexford.
We work to help members to build skills, friendships, confidence, and community connections while pursuing their own life goals through a diverse range of programmes and supports across life stages and needs:
- Full-time and part-time training and education programmes
- Community inclusion and outreach
- Residential services and supported living
- Respite and extended evening and weekend supports
- Personal development supports
- Targeted individualised supports
- Nature based programmes
HOW WE DO IT
At BEAM, our work is shaped by our values and a belief in each person’s right to live with dignity, purpose, and connection.

We use a person-centred and rights-based approach, placing each member’s voice, goals and needs at the center of how we plan and deliver individualised support.
