Beam @ The Barrow

In Beam @the Barrow we focus on those who require assistance with daily living activities to support them to develop the skills, confidence, and experience to live as independently as possible. We recognise that while people may be capable of managing many aspects of daily life, they continue to benefit from guidance, encouragement, and structured support to achieve their personal goals.

Through person-centred planning, participants are supported to build practical life skills, strengthen social connections, and increase their involvement in community life. Opportunities are provided to develop skills in areas such as travel training, personal care, household management, communication, health and wellbeing, education, volunteering, and employment readiness. Our dedicated staff work alongside each person, providing the right balance of support and encouragement to promote choice, self-determination, and confidence.

By focusing on individual strengths and aspirations, we empower people to take greater control of their lives, make meaningful decisions, and become active members of their communities. This programme is based in the centre of Bagenalstown.
